Christmas is a wonderful time of the year to give back to your community, and those in need.
The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal helps bring joy and comfort to families and children at Christmas time.
Abode Real Estate has been involved with the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal for many years, and we are continuing the worthy cause this year. We have a donation box at both our Jarrad St and Stirling Highway offices, and both will be picked up on Thursday, December 14.
Please help us fill these boxes with lots of food items and gifts for those in need.
Some handy tips for donations:
- Tins with ring-pull lids are most helpful
- Please ensure foods donated are non-perishable and that the expiry extends well into 2018
- Please do not wrap the donations, this allows parents to personally select suitable gifts for their children
- You may wish to include wrapping paper and sticky tape with your donation so parents can wrap the gifts themselves
- The gift you donate could be the only present a child receives, so we try our best to ensure each child receives a gift that is ‘brand new’
- Teens can be hard to buy for, and gifts for them are in high demand, we greatly appreciate help for this age group
